THE WORK OF THE HISTORIAN
THE WORK OF THE HISTORIAN
THE HISTORIAN
is a scholar who analyzes many elements:
places, political figures, and societies.
He/She:
- collects information
- studies the data
- organizes it
- and finally
reconstructs events
or makes hypotheses.
Unfortunately,
the further back in time events are,
the more difficult it is to find information.
The historian is helped
by many other scholars, such as:
THE PALEONTOLOGIST
who
studies extinct animals
THE PALEOANTHROPOLOGIST
who
studies early humans
THE GEOLOGIST
who
studies rocks and the ground to reconstruct the origin of the Earth
THE ARCHAEOLOGIST
who
studies artifacts made by humans
